Scholarship Announcement!
Approximately six scholarships* will be offered to full time students pursuing degrees in Food Science/Technology or closely related fields. Scholarships are in the amount of $1000 and will be offered to high school seniors, college undergraduates and/or college graduate students who meet the eligibility requirements. Students who wish to be considered for these scholarships must be Philadelphia Section members and must apply via the official Philadelphia Regional Section IFT Scholarship Application Form. The deadline for submission of applications is March 15, 2009. Philadelphia Regional Section of IFT This application and all attachments (one original AND seven copies, in English) must be submitted directly to the Scholarship Chair by March 1, 2009. Letters of recommendation must be sent directly to the Scholarship Chair from the recommendor. Please provide appropriate address information to the recommendor. In addition, a copy of the entire application (minus letters of recommendation) must be provided to the department head at the college/university you are attending or planning to attend.
