Words From the Chair...
Welcome to the Philadelphia Section of IFT website. There are lots of
great events coming up this spring season.
Our April meeting will feature guest speaker, Dr. Parker Hall, who will
lecture on the topic "Product Development in the Food Industry" with a
guided USDA tour prior to the meeting. Our last meeting of the season,
Student Recognition Night, will be held at Campbell Soup Company in
Camden, NJ with a guided tour of the research facility for STUDENTS
ONLY. Our guest speaker for Student Recognition night is Dr. John Ruff
from Kraft Foods. Please check our website for updates, locations, times
and register early for events.
Finally, NYIFT region is teaming up with Prepared Foods for a 2-day
seminar in East Brunswick, NJ on April 14-15, 2008 to follow along with
their Annual Supplier's Day on April 15.
