TO ADVANCE THE

WORDS FROM THE CHAIR
Welcome, we will be entering our 2010 Philadelphia IFT
Section program year.
The first part of our year we had outstanding
participation at all of our events, especially at our 2009 IFT suppliers
night and Golf outing, we ended the year at our Holiday meeting at the
Restaurant School in Philadelphia Pa., the service and meal was
outstanding. This year our holiday dinner was a joint Meeting with AACT
– American Association of Candy Technologists. We thank them for joining
us and their participation.
On February 2, 2010, our meeting will be held at the
Mustard Greens in Philadelphia and our Speaker will be Dan McElwee from
Corn Sweeteners
March 2, 2010 Maggiano’s in Cherry Hill N.J. and our
speaker will be Ray Carroll from Campbell Soup.
April 6, 2010 at the Williamson Restaurant in Horsham
Pa. and our speaker will be Sylvia Rowe.
May 4, 2010 Students Night - Scholarships will be
awarded at Gloucester County College in Gloucester N.J. Speaker IFT
President Marianne Gillette.
Students it is time to submit an Application for our
IFT Scholarship program. See additional information on our Web for our
events and Scholarship information.
